With the weather at it’s mildest, not too hot, not too cold: just right, it’s time to get out and enjoy it. KW is blessed with many beautiful trails and parks, most recognizable being Waterloo and Victoria park. The jewel of the city, Waterloo Park is a sprawling patch of nature with many spots to check out. For those looking for a picnic in nature, check out one of the 9 designated rest areas. For those looking to enjoy some summer athletics, check out the baseball diamonds, cricket pitch, and large fields, perfect for all sorts of sports. Don’t forget about shredding at the skatepark, admiring the Victorian gardens, splashing at the splash pads, or letting the kids play at the numerous playgrounds. Waterloo park offers so many great spots, so don’t be afraid to wander on over this summer!
